CARD SME Bank now operates in NCR

MSMEs from the metro now benefit from micro and SME loan products offered by social development organization CARD MRI. 

On November 25, 2019, CARD SME Bank officially opened its first branch in Metro Manila. CARD SME Bank is one of the financial institutions of CARD MRI that seeks to provide financial access to socioeconomically-challenged families. 

Said CARD SME Bank President and CEO Aristeo Dequito, this is the bank’s first step in penetrating the metropolitan. “As per DTI’s report, 20% of the MSMEs from all over the country can be found in NCR. With our newly opened branch, we hope to cater the needs of these striving MSMEs,” said Dequito.

CARD SME Bank primarily offers loan products to MSMEs. It also offers savings account for microentrepreneurs and children, and domestic remittance services. 

The bank’s new branch is located at 311 A. Mabini St., Brgy. 20, Caloocan City, Metro Manila.

The bank opening was graced by CARD SME Bank President and CEO Aristeo A. Dequito, Executive Vice President and COO Cynthia Baldeo, and members of the Board of Directors. Also present in the event were officers from the bank’s long-time partner, Savings Bank Foundation for International Cooperation (SBFIC) Germany.
