Cebuanos benefit from CARD’s community health fairs. More than 1,700 clients of CARD, Inc. and their beneficiaries in Camotes Island, Carmen, Barili, Talisay and Lapu-lapu City received several health services in a series of community health fairs conducted by the social development organization and CARD MRI’s Microfinance and Health Protection (MaHP) Program unit in February. Medical, dental and optical were among the services rendered. The health fair of CARD, Inc. is also in collaboration with BotiCARD, the CARD MRI’s pharmacy, to ensure that all needed medicines will be available at a discounted rate. CARD, Inc. and BotiCARD are member organizations of CARD MRI, a social development organization that is in the business of poverty eradication in the country.
