CARD Bank’s 2Q community health days in Visayas kick off in Samar-Leyte

Four municipalities and barangays in Basey, Sta. Rita, Babatngon, and Tacloban City received several health services during the kick off of CARD Bank’s 2Q community health days in Visayas. Almost 1,500 clients of the bank and their dependents, and local residents of the said communities benefitted from the activity. Medical, dental, and optical were among the services rendered. The health fair is a regular program of CARD Bank, Inc. for the communities it serves through CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) Microfinance and Health Protection (MaHP) Program unit and BotiCARD.  The latter is CARD MRI’s pharmacy that ensures all needed medicines will be available at a discounted rate. CARD Bank, Inc. and BotiCARD are member organizations of CARD MRI, a social development organization that aims to eradicate poverty in the country.
