Small salon provides job in Tagum City

Nanay Edna Lape (above photo) owner of Eridon Salon in Tagum City, Davao del Norte provides job to local communities in Tagum. Being a member of CARD, Inc. for nine years and through the unique loan programs she availed, she was able to extend her salon space, buy salon-related assets and supplies, and thus, generated job opportunities. Nanay Lape’s employees are also members of CARD, who are all inspired by her story. Nanay Lape is now under the Small Business Loan (SBL) program of CARD, Inc. because she needs bigger capital. The SBL program of CARD, Inc. is intended for those who have already established their businesses and have planned to expand them. CARD, Inc. is one of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institution’s (CARD MRI) member institution. CARD MRI is a social development organization operating nationwide.
