CaMIA, EMPC forge partnership with Philcare

The employees of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) are now assured of comprehensive hospital and health-related assistance as CARD MRI Insurance Agency, Inc. (CaMIA) and CARD Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CARD EMPC) inked partnership with Philhealth Care, Inc. (Philcare) on October 23, 2018 at Makati Diamond Residences.

“Part of CARD MRI Insurance Agency, Inc.’s mission is to provide life and non-life insurance products and services to CARD MRI’s client-members and affiliates. These services include health care program for our employees,” shared Vener Abellera, President and General Manager of CaMIA.

EMPC General Manager Nenia Peralta also emphasized that CARD EMPC commits to provide its members who are CARD MRI employees with competitive products and services that would suit their evolving needs. “With the help of PhilCare, we aim to give our members the holistic health solutions they deserve,” added Peralta.

CARD EMPC operates as a sustainable locally-based employees’ cooperative serving its members and their families. It currently offers loan and administers CARD MRI health fund.

Philcare SVP for Sales and Marketing Christian Cristobal shared, “At Philcare, we commit to provide and arrange efficient and appropriate health care services for the eligible members of CARD MRI including evaluating applications for coverage, granting of benefits, and handling administration of claims.”

“With the signing of the agreement that will run until June next year, eligible regular employees of CARD MRI may avail hospitalization benefits, preventive health care benefits, emergency benefits, dental benefits, and immediate claims,” concluded Abellera.
