Julius Adrian R. Alip, the president of Mga Likha ni Inay (MLNI), was one of the speakers of Angat Pinoy Business Expo held on June 30-July 1, 2018 at SM Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall in Manila. During his talk, he emphasized that in choosing a career path, we should clearly define our purpose as it will guide our journey to do what is best. Alip also compared this on how firm CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) is to its commitment of eradicating poverty in the country. CARD MRI, according to Alip, always implement programs and introduce services that are essential in realizing its core goal. CARD MRI is a group of 21 institutions including MLNI that aims to eradicate poverty in the Philippines by providing microfinance and social development programs. Mga Likha ni Inay is the marketing arm of CARD MRI that links grassroots micro entrepreneurs, mostly in rural communities where CARD MRI operates, to the mainstream market. Moreover, the Angat Pinoy Business Expo is the first ever Business Exhibit of JCI Alabang and JCI San Juan Dambana, which aims to showcase the unique Filipino brands, as well as the innovative and pioneering Filipino companies and their products and services.
