CHD serves residents of Ilocos Norte

Community Health Day (CHD), a program conducted by Center for Agriculture and Rural Development (CARD), Inc. (A Microfinance NGO) in collaboration with the Microfinance and Health Protection (MaHP) unit of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), served more than 270 local residents of Marcos, Ilocos Norte on July 13, 2018. The said program, which provides free medical, dental and optical services, is being conducted regularly in different areas in the Philippines. It is part of the institution’s commitment to eradicating poverty in the country by making those health services more accessible to local communities. As of June 2018, 278 CHDs were conducted with more than 15,600 beneficiaries all over the country. CARD, Inc. is a member institution of CARD MRI and a microfinance NGO that operates nationwide reaching more than 1.9 million clients. CARD MRI is a group of 21 institutions that aims to eradicate poverty in the country by providing microfinance and community-based development services.
