Dr. Alip discusses CARD MRI’s new direction to staff in Argao, Cebu

official-photo_argao-cebuCARD MRI goes digital. The founder and chairman of CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip, recently gathered staff of Rizal Bank, Inc. (RBI) in Argao, Cebu and discussed the new direction of the institution, which is to go digital. Since 2015, CARD MRI has been investing to a more advanced technology, like the core banking system, to deliver better and stronger result of its services nationwide. CARD Bank, one of CARD MRI’s banking institutions, is the first microfinance-oriented rural bank in the Philippines to use core banking system. Last year, CARD Bank launched the Konek2CARD, a mobile banking application where users can monitor their CARD Bank Matapat ATM transactions, like balance inquiry, fund transfer, and transaction history. Dr. Alip also reminded the RBI staff in Cebu to always remain rooted to CARD MRI’s core values. Dr. Alip is expected to conduct series of visits to CARD operations nationwide before the year ends.
