CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI), represented by the founder and chairman, Dr. Jaime Aristotle Alip, joined over 140 other business leaders and pioneer mentors of the 10 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) during the launching of the largest  mentoring program in the region, November 12, 2017.

The mentoring program is called ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN), a regional private and public platform that will “promote and facilitate the exchange of entrepreneur mentors and best practice training modules for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs)”.

AMEN launching was highlighted during the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) 2017.

Moreover, the conference brings attention to business issues, investment opportunities, and directions for growth especially for micro and small-scale entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia.

“Being part of the launching of AMEN is an honor and privilege. It is an honor to share our knowledge to this generation’s hopeful entrepreneurs and a privilege to play a greater role in uplifting the lives of our people,” Dr. Alip said.

“I am really hoping to contribute to the development of our country in the best way that I can,” he added.

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte also graced the launching and gave his speech about economic state of the country and the need to allocate higher budget for MSMEs next year.
