The CARD MRI Founder and Chairman Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip, together with Flordeliza Sarmiento, Aniceta Alip, and Jean Pauline Landicho, CARD MRI Managing Director, CARD MRI Research Adviser, and CARD MRI International Group Director-OIC respectively, recently visited Vietnam to strengthen its partnership with its long-time partners in the said country. CARD MRI visited the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) and other partners specifically the TYM Fund, a Vietnamese financial institution.  The visit aims for stronger partnership with VWU on microfinance, microinsurance, business development services, and capacity-building services.

The visit resulted to an increase on CARD’s scholarship grants to directors of VWU in the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute School of Organization Development (SAIDI) and to collaborate on students and professors exchange program with the Vietnam Women’s Academy.

CARD MRI is solidifying its presence in the Southeast Asia (SEA) to share its technology to other microfinance institutions in its neighboring countries to help reach its goal in eradicating poverty not only in the Philippines but also in the global communities.
