MICROFINANCE PLUS. Beyond financial services, microfinance clients of CARD, Inc. and their beneficiaries in Sulu, Basilan, and Zamboanga City also received free health services as part of the community development initiative of the institution. More than 2,400 availed of medical, dental, and optical services rendered by CARD, Inc.’s partner health providers. The Camp Bud Datu in Sulu also sent one lieutenant dentist and troops during the health fairs. Community health fair, as one of the microfinance plus programs of CARD, Inc., is a regular effort conducted nationwide. Other plus programs include education, environment, and capacity building, among others. CARD, Inc. is a social development organization that is in the business of poverty eradication in the country.
