A Bol-anon won CARD MRI’s Pagkilala sa Mga Likha ni Inay Awards 2016

Mrs. Mera Flor R. Dumalaoron, a member-borrower of CARD, Inc. Pinayagan Sur, Tubigon, Bohol won the Pagkilala sa Mga Likha ni Inay 2016 Awards held on December 16, 2016 held at the CARD MRI Development Institute (CMDI).

Winners of the PMLNI Awards were selected from each financial institution of CARD MRI. Dumalaoron who has been supported by CARD for 7 years is a coconut charcoal manufacturer, sari-sari store and school canteen owner, and copra and coconut shell buyer and seller. Other awardees were Mrs. Wilma N. Pillejera, sari-sari store, bakery, and agri-vet wholesaler and retailer from CARD Bank, Inc., Masbate; Mrs. Anita M. Aranda, crop producer of cucumber, ampalaya, and tomato, from CARD SME Bank, Inc., Batangas; and Mrs. Maria Cristy P. Panisa, carinderia/eatery and food establishment owner from Rizal Bank, Inc., Paranaque City. Special awards were also given to Mrs. Rosalyn P. Espenorio as Gawad Masigasig Awardee and Mrs. Carmelita C. Dapanas as Gawad Malikhain Awardee.

During the awarding ceremony, CARD MRI also recognized last year’s PMLNI business who were selected as finalists in the 2016 Citi Microentrepreneur of the Year. They are Mrs. Carmelita Aguilar from Siniloan Branch and Mrs. Arlene Mabute from Antipolo City Branch, both from Rizal Bank, Inc.

Next year, we should add another award category and that is to recognize the importance of family in the success of the enterprise,” said Dr. Jaime Aristotle B.
