Tagaytay City, Cavite—CARD MRI bagged the 2nd place of the Bankers Institute of the Philippines (BAIPHIL)’s photo exhibit on bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) project. The photo exhibit was part of BAIPHIL’s 28th National Convention held at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City last February 27-March 1, 2015.

Various banking institutions participated in the photo exhibit showing notable impact of their business practices that benefit the society. The three financial banking institutions of CARD MRI namely CARD Bank, Inc., CARD SME Bank, Inc. and Rizal Bank, Inc. (RBI) represented the organization on the said photo exhibit.

The bank’s CSR projects were judged according to its impact on the lives of its beneficiaries, its relevance in addressing current society concerns, its long term commitment to continue the project, and its effectiveness in inspiring other institutions to resonate the same project.

The three financial banking institutions of CARD MRI, in collaboration with other member institutions of CARD MRI, aim to provide holistic social development service to the poor. Through several collaborations, the clients of the three financial institutions of CARD MRI have access to health services. CARD clients, their children and deserving students from indigent and poorest communities have also the opportunity to get educational assistance and scholarships. CARD MRI also ensures that its members and their families are able to get back on their feet through immediate provision of relief goods, stress debriefing, health missions, and immediate claims payment.

“CARD MRI will continue to support its community development projects to help more families improve their lives. CARD MRI will be the client’s cane when adversity strikes. We will continue to help our clients because we are committed to improve the quality of lives of many poor families,” said Mrs. Cynthia Baldeo, the Executive Vice President of CARD SME Bank, Inc.
